Collaborate with Gargle Jack
Art-first. Artist-respecting. Punk as a living practice.
This Isn’t a Pitch. It’s an Invitation.
Gargle Jack exists to make things with people who care.
Not fast fashion.
Not trend chasing.
Not merch factories.
We collaborate with artists, musicians, photographers, designers, skaters, zinesters, tattooers, and makers who see punk as culture, not costume.
If you’re here, it’s probably because something we’re doing resonated.
This page is here to answer questions — not to rush you into anything.
What “Collaboration” Actually Means Here
A Gargle Jack collaboration is a creative partnership, not a licensing grab.
We don’t ask you to fit into a preset template.
We build the idea together.
That might mean:
-
a single graphic
-
a photograph
-
a visual theme
-
a phrase
-
an experiment that only makes sense once
Some collaborations are loud.
Some are subtle.
All are intentional.
Who This Is For
You might belong here if you’re a:
-
Visual artist or photographer
-
Musician or band
-
Skate artist or deck designer
-
Tattoo artist
-
Zine maker or illustrator
-
Street artist or collage artist
-
Designer working outside the mainstream
You don’t need a massive following.
You don’t need to “build a brand.”
You do need a point of view.
What You Can Expect From Us
This matters, so we’ll be clear.
We commit to:
-
Clear communication
-
Artist credit that’s visible and respected
-
Thoughtful production choices
-
Honest conversations about money
-
No surprise timelines
-
No pressure to say yes
We believe good work comes from trust — not urgency.
How the Process Works (At a Human Pace)
Step 1: Reach Out
You share a bit about yourself and your work.
Step 2: We Look (Thoughtfully)
We actually take time to look at what you do.
Step 3: A Conversation
If it feels aligned, we schedule a short call — no pitching, no pressure.
Step 4: A Concept Sheet
If we both want to explore further, we send a simple 1-page concept with a few ideas to react to.
Step 5: Decide Together
We move forward only if it feels right on both sides.
That’s it.
About Money (Because It Shouldn’t Be Awkward)
Revenue splits are discussed openly and adjusted based on:
-
scope
-
production method
-
time involved
-
number of pieces
There’s no one-size-fits-all deal.
There is transparency.
No contracts until everyone’s comfortable.
What We’re Not Looking For
Just to be clear:
-
We don’t mass-produce art without intention
-
We don’t strip work of context
-
We don’t rush artists
-
We don’t expect free labor “for exposure”
-
We don’t turn collaboration into content farms
If that’s a dealbreaker elsewhere — good. It should be.
Why Gargle Jack Exists
Punk has always been about making space.
For noise.
For difference.
For humor.
For tenderness.
For refusal.
For trying things that might not work.
Gargle Jack is one small platform for that — through objects, stories, and collaborations that feel alive.
